As a Gender Equality Intern at Q&H Global Consult, you will actively contribute to our mission of transforming the lives of women and girls. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on initiatives aimed at eradicating Gender-Based Violence, Sexual Harassment, Sexual Exploitation, and Abuse. You will be an integral part of creating safe spaces that empower women and girls socio-economically, fostering an environment where aspirations and dreams can thrive unhindered.
 
  • Passion for gender equality and women's empowerment.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Gender Studies, Social Sciences, International Development, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and inclusive team.
  • Knowledge of gender-based issues and a commitment to creating positive social change.
  • Previous experience in gender-focused projects or initiatives.
  • Familiarity with community engagement and advocacy.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus.
  • Conduct research on gender-based issues, contributing insights for strategic planning.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of programs aimed at eradicating Gender-Based Violence and empowering women.
  • Support the creation of educational materials and resources on gender equality.
  • Collaborate with team members on organizing events, workshops, and campaigns.
  • Engage in outreach activities to raise awareness about gender-based issues.
  • Monitor and report on the impact of initiatives, providing data-driven insights.
  • Contribute to social media and communication efforts to amplify the organization's mission.
  1. Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct literature reviews on current gender-related issues.
    • Analyze data and contribute to the development of reports and publications.
  2. Advocacy Support:
    • Assist in the planning and execution of advocacy campaigns.
    • Engage with stakeholders to promote gender equality initiatives.
  3. Community Engagement:
    • Collaborate with community organizations to support gender-focused projects.
    • Facilitate or contribute to workshops and events.
  4. Content Creation:
    • Contribute to the creation of content for social media and other platforms.
    • Draft articles, blog posts, or other materials related to gender issues.
  5. Administrative Support:
    • Assist in the coordination of meetings, events, and workshops.
    • Provide general administrative support to the gender space team.
